Proper maintenance and upkeep are crucial for the smooth operation and extended lifespan of mechanical equipment, and CNC tube lathes are no exception. Let’s take a look at the operating and maintenance procedures for cnc tube lathe:

  1. The operator must be familiar with the general performance, structure, and rotating system of the lathe. We strictly prohibit the misuse of the equipment beyond its performance limits.
  2. Check if the operating handles, switches, and knobs are in the correct positions.
  3. Ensure smooth operation and complete functioning of limit and safety devices.
  4. Power on the lathe and run it at low speed without any load. If any abnormal noise occurs, stop the machine and report it to the maintenance personnel for inspection.
  5. Run the cnc tube lathe at low speed without any load for 3-5 minutes to ensure proper functioning of the lubrication, electrical system, and all components before commencing work.
  6. If any abnormalities are observed during operation. Immediately stop the cnc tube lathe machine, identify the cause, and promptly address the issue.
  7. It is strictly prohibited to strike, straighten, or repair workpieces on the worktable surface.
  8. During operation, ensure proper chip removal and perform lubrication and oiling according to the specific machining materials. Keep all oil holes and lubrication points clean and covered with dust-proof covers.
  9. Regularly check the oil level and oil supply of the lubrication system. Follow the lubrication chart and conduct lubrication adjustments at designated intervals to ensure proper lubrication during shifts.

After work, personnel must set all operating handles, switches, and knobs to the off position. They should also disconnect the power supply. Before finishing the shift, clean the bed, spindle box, tool carriage. And all areas from dust and iron filings, and apply rust prevention oil.
